About Martin And Rosie

Art and drawing have always been a passion of mine. I had my first tattoo as a teenager and that’s where my love for the art form developed.

I have over 10 years experience within the Tattoo Industry. I specialise in Black and Grey Realism but I can turn my hand to most styles. I have a passion for all things Skull & Horror related. I take on work of all sizes , from small simple line work right up to full back pieces. I do scar cover ups for people who have had surgery, people who have self harm scars and those who want to hide stretch marks.

As the Owner of Ink Masters Tattoo Studio , I pride myself not only on my own work but the work of the other Staff members. We are a Team, we work together, for the client at all times. Client confidentiality and care are extremely important to us.

For us, the whole experience of having a tattoo is just as important as having the tattoo itself.

I’m Rosie Hillman the Junior Tattoo Artist at InkMasters

Since I was little I have loved to create, I’ve studied art for most of my life, achieving a foundation diploma in “Art and Design” 2014 at Ravensbourne then went onto graduating in an illustration and visual media Degree at The “London College of Communication” in 2017.

Over the years I’ve created artwork such as Personalised Canvas/Murals and tattoo designs. I have always been drawn to art with bold statement colours and unique designs which in turn has been one of the key features in my art style. I carefully illustrate my tattoos with imagination, care and love.

I was lucky enough to have the chance to work along side the amazing owners of InkMasters, Martin (tattooist) and Beckie (piercer) helping me build my clientele and introducing me into the tattoo industry.
Turning my dream job into a reality!

What is Tattooing?

A tattoo is a form of body modification where a design is made by inserting ink, dyes and pigments, either indelible or temporary, into the dermis layer of the skin to change the pigment. The art of making tattoos is tattooing.

Tattooing High Fading Areas

We will tattoo hands , fingers and feet but these areas will always be advised against due to how quick they fade. If you decide to go ahead with a tattoo in these areas please note that we do not offer any free touch ups. There will be a minimum fee for this.

Tattoo Aftercare

How you look after your tattoo will depends how well it heals.

It is normal for your new tattoo to feel warm , almost like sunburn . Your artist will dress it for you in a thin film once it is complete.

After 2 hours , remove this covering , gently wash with a small amount of antibacterial soap and warm water. Pat dry with a clean paper towel. Apply a thin layer of aftercare cream. We suggest Tattoo Goo which is available to purchase from the studio.

Repeat this process for 2 weeks.

Over the first few days it will feel sore , it may be slightly red and tight. Keep it clean and let the air get to it. Avoid sunbathing, laying in hot baths, sun beds and saunas for a minimum of 2 weeks.

After a few days it may start to become dry and have a few flaky scabs . This is a completely normal part of healing. A tattoo when first done is dark , as it heals it will look like it is fading , it isn’t . It will darken once as the scabs have healed and your real tattoo will appear !

Do not pick the scabs . This will pull out the ink and you will he left with patches.

If you notice any green fluid , swelling , if it stays hot for more than 3 to 4 days or you are concerned please contact your artist or your GP to rule out infection.

Please follow the aftercare given by your Artist exactly.
